About
Founded in 1980 by Vincent L’Herrou at the Louvre des Antiquaires, the Galerie Théorème has been located for the past four years at 15 Rue de Lille in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris.
The gallery specializes in European porcelain and earthenware (from the 16th to the early 20th century), as well as Chinese, East India Company, and Japanese porcelain, along with art objects from the 16th to the 19th century.
Vincent L’Herrou’s main interest lies in the research and discovery of new or previously unknown pieces, particularly those of historical significance. The gallery thus enables collectors, institutions, and museums to acquire reference works in this field.
He is a member of the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés (CNES) affiliated with the European Confederation of Art Experts, vice-president of the Association of Specialists in Collectible Ceramics, which organizes the annual Parcours de la Céramique de Collection in Paris, a founding member of CECOA, and recipient of the NEF d’OR of the City of Paris in 1996.
