About
The Galerie Théorème, founded in 1980 by Vincent L’Herrou at the Louvre des Antiquaires, has been located for the past four years at 15 Rue de Lille in Paris, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. The gallery specializes in European porcelain and earthenware (from the 16th to the early 20th century), Chinese porcelain, Compagnie des Indes and Japanese works, as well as art objects from the 16th to the 19th century.
Vincent L’Herrou’s main focus is the research and discovery of new or previously unknown pieces, particularly those with historical significance. The gallery thus enables collectors, institutions, and museums to acquire reference pieces in its field.
He is a member of the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés (CNES), affiliated with the Confédération Européenne des Experts d’Art; vice-president of the Association of Specialists in Collectible Ceramics, which organizes the annual Parcours de la Céramique de Collection in Paris; a founding member of CECOA; and was awarded the NEF d’OR of the City of Paris in 1996.
