About
Founded in Paris in 1952, the Galerie Berès has been promoting the major artistic movements of the 19th and 20th centuries for over seventy years, from Post-Impressionism to Cubism, and from Surrealism to Abstraction.
Located on the Left Bank opposite the Louvre, the gallery organizes exhibitions dedicated both to major figures of modern art and to rarer or rediscovered artists, with particular attention paid to quality, provenance, and historical context.
Today, Florence Montanari Berès directs the gallery, and her sister Capucine Montanari has recently joined the team.
