Founded in 1999 and located on Quai Voltaire, facing the Louvre, Galerie Chenel is dedicated to giving ancient archaeology a new life within a contemporary and museum-quality setting. Careful attention is paid to provenance and expert evaluation, making the selection a true commitment to taste and quality in order to provide full assurance to buyers.

Composed of three members in its leadership team, each brings their expertise: Ollivier and Adrien focus on the rigorous selection of artworks and their sales, while Gladys Chenel oversees scenography, press relations, and the development of partnerships.

The clientele includes curators, collectors, professionals, and enthusiasts, as well as major international institutions such as the Louvre Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Each year, the gallery organizes numerous thematic exhibitions and participates in leading international art fairs such as Frieze Masters London, TEFAF New York, and TEFAF Maastricht. It is also a member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires and IADAA (International Association of Dealers in Ancient Art).
