About
The gallery presents a fine collection of Chinese export porcelain from the 16th to the 18th century and stands out as one of the only French galleries specializing in Chinese snuff bottles from the Qing period.
Its director, Bertrand de Lavergne, is an expert member of the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés, a member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires, a member of the Royal Chamber of Antiquarians of Belgium, a member of the Compagnie Nationale des Experts, and the founder and secretary-general of the Association of Specialists in Collectible Ceramics. He is also a member of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society, an American association based in Baltimore, as well as the European Association of Chinese Snuff Bottle Collectors.
Since its creation more than ten years ago, the gallery has participated in the Brussels Art Fair as well as the Parcours de la Céramique in Paris, and has also taken part in the Salon du Collectionneur and the Biennale des Antiquaires at the Grand Palais in Paris.
