Yves and Paul Macheret took over their father’s art foundry in 2015. The foundry was already renowned for its bespoke bronze pieces.

The two brothers subsequently created Entrelacs to further develop the foundry’s activity. The brand extends the family craftsmanship through finished bronze works.

Entrelacs pieces reflect the “interlacing” of the foundry’s many talents. Mould maker, caster, chaser, polisher—each craft plays a role throughout the production process of an Entrelacs edition.

As artisans and manufacturers, the Macheret brothers also emphasize the simplicity of form as a tribute to the material itself.
