Situated between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Musée d’Orsay at the heart of Paris’s 7th arrondissement, the Carré Rive Gauche, which boasts 120 antiques dealers, invites you to enjoy a fascinating stroll through an array of rare objects chosen by professionals from the art market. Only Paris can offer such an exceptional range of furniture dating from the Renaissance through to the 21st century, as well as pictures, sculptures, Far Eastern and African art, curios, porcelain and earthenware, glassware, silverware, and tapestries.

The association Carré Rive Gauche currently has 120 members.

Antique dealers and art galleries of the Carré Rive Gauche have made excellence their dominant theme for 2008. Aiming to please an ever more exacting client base, Carré traders are employing their expertise to select exceptional pieces.
The Carré Rive Gauche is now more than ever a magical place where, from 30 May to 1st June, the discerning art lover will find Art at its best. Eclecticism remains a key feature of the Carré's appeal: asian art, 18th century furniture, roman sculpture, creations by contemporary designers …
In 2007 and 2008 Carré galleries had a greater presence at the main art fairs in New York, Brussels and Maastricht. This has promoted the Carré Rive Gauche name abroad and an even wider international audience is expected this year.
Hugely successful in 2007, the Sunday brunch is back and will be on offer in each gallery between 11.00 and 14.00. Free guided tours will be available in French and other languages based around various themes (furniture, painting, design, etc.).
